Westbrook Belongs to the Tyger Claws—Until You Follow the Gigs

A practical Westbrook guide for Cyberpunk 2077: where the Tyger Claws operate, which gigs expose their control, and which choice to make in Pisces.

Westbrook’s Tyger Claws do not need checkpoints to control the district. Their power sits behind public-facing places: a Japantown apartment, a Clouds-related meeting in Megabuilding H8, and a Charter Hill casino hidden below the waterfront. Follow those interiors in order and Westbrook stops being a sightseeing district; it becomes a guide to how the gang turns access into authority.

Westbrook contains Japantown, Charter Hill, and North Oak. Use the jobs below as a route through the district, and make a manual save before “Pisces,” where one payment decision can close off the next step in Judy’s story.

Job Area What to watch
“Getting Warmer…” Northern Japantown Reach 8ug8ear from the roof
“Pisces” Megabuilding H8 Refuse Maiko’s payment to keep Judy’s next quest open
“Tyger and Vulture” Charter Hill Use the casino’s alternate entrance

Start in Japantown: the Tyger Claws’ home ground

Japantown is the Tyger Claws’ clearest base in Westbrook. The Shinto Shrine, Cherry Blossom Market, Jig-Jig Street, and the routes around Megabuilding H8 fill the district with the gang’s mix of nightlife, black-market business, and controlled access. The Moxes also appear in Westbrook, but the Tyger Claws define the neighborhood’s public face.

Do not clear the map from the fast-travel screen outward. Start around Cherry Blossom Market and northern Japantown, then take Wakako Okada’s jobs as they appear. Each one turns a normal-looking building into a question about ownership: who is allowed through the front door, who is being held inside, and which side route the gang forgot to seal.

“Getting Warmer…”: reach 8ug8ear from the roof

After “Playing for Time,” Wakako’s “Getting Warmer…” sends you to Salinas Street in northern Japantown. The Tyger Claws are holding the netrunner 8ug8ear inside a hostile building. The fastest safe approach is from above, not through the front entrance.

8ug8ear is held in a Tyger Claw-controlled building on Salinas Street.

Use Double Jump to clear the fence, open the gate with 11 Technical Ability, or take the nearby stairs to reach the roof. Clear the enemies facing the street, drop to the rear balcony, and enter the room where 8ug8ear is trapped. The coolant you need is in the bathroom. Use it on her, disconnect her from the computer, and carry her outside.

That route matters because it exposes the gang’s weak point: the building is defended as a controlled space, but the roof turns the whole security plan into a route-finding problem. You are not just rescuing a netrunner; you are learning how to move through Tyger Claw territory without accepting its front-door rules.

“Pisces”: refuse Maiko’s payment to keep Judy’s story open

“Pisces” follows Judy’s “Talkin’ ’Bout a Revolution.” When Judy contacts you, meet the group in Megabuilding H8 during the afternoon, then move through the maintenance floor and roof to Hiromi’s penthouse. Tyger Claw guards are the obvious obstacle, but the important outcome is decided after the firefight, in Maiko’s negotiation.

The negotiation in Hiromi’s office decides whether Judy’s questline remains open.

In Hiromi’s office, Maiko tries to change the plan while the Tyger Claw bosses decide who controls the dolls at Clouds. You can draw your weapon and start a fight, or let the bosses impose their own solution. The choice to remember is the one afterward:

If you accept Maiko’s arrangement, refuse her payment. Accepting both the deal and the money worsens Judy’s reaction and can close off “Pyramid Song”; refusing the payment keeps the next step in Judy’s questline available.

Make the save before entering the penthouse. The dialogue is time-sensitive, and the consequences reach further than the guards outside. “Pisces” shows the Tyger Claws’ most important asset in Westbrook: not a street corner, but the ability to make a business, a building, and a person’s future depend on who gets paid.

“Tyger and Vulture”: enter the Charter Hill casino from the side

In Charter Hill, the gang’s influence is dressed up as a private venue. “Tyger and Vulture” is available from Wakako at Street Cred 1 and sends you below the Longshore South waterfront to steal Vortex’s credchip from a Tyger Claw casino.

You can pay the guard at the main entrance, use the Corpo dialogue option to enter for free, or take the alternate route through a side door and reach the office from above. If you use the direct route, search the casino office for the credchip beside the netrunner, then leave and deposit it at the nearby drop point. The side route is the better choice when you want to avoid the crowd: it leads toward the upper office with less fighting and makes the casino’s security layout easier to read.

By the time you finish this gig, the district’s pattern is visible. Japantown advertises Tyger Claw control in the street; H8 shows it inside a business; Charter Hill hides it behind a guard and a sewer entrance. Follow those three jobs in that order and Westbrook gives you a practical route, not just a list of places to visit.
